| Well it's about that time for me to update xanga. I have noticed this trend of how about every 2 month I will suddenly remember it and feel guilt for my negligence. I must say I don't particularly care for the new upgrades because it just really confuses me haha. It took me a good minute or so just figure out how to do this post. Pshh. Yay for Spring Break! Normally, I would say it couldn't have come any sooner, but I love this semester so much, it kinda snuck up on me. It amazes me how long last semester felt when this one is just slipping right through my fingers. I think it has to do with me getting really involved on campus and finally being accustomed to living away from home. I am an elected Senator on Student Government Association and a new member of Sigma Kappa Sorority!! *woos and cheers* Plus having more friends to hang out with that I feel like I really know and my having my wonderful boyfriend , makes life more enjoyable. What else is going in life...hmm...oh my foot is healed compltely! No walking boot! It does however pain me when the weather starts to change drastically, which is kind of an everyday thing with global warming haha. Another bit of exciting news is that I think I have found the career field that is right for me! It is going to be something medical, I just know it. The thrill that I got two weeks ago in my anatomy lab class from getting to hold real human bones was something I have never exprienced besides in dancing. I think it would be fabulous to be able to help people with their bone related problems by being like a Dr. Christopherson (a bone doctor by the way) or like a physical therapist. I will have to ponder this field more, but it was just kind of a big deal.

| Well seeing Courtney updating her xanga gave me the motivation and reminder I should probably do mine as well. Haha. Let's see, for starters my foot is still on the mend. It's been six weeks now if I am counting correctly since I broke it, and should be able to get out of this boot brace soon! *woos and cheers* Next week will begin second semester of freshmen year. It's crazy boo how fast the first part of the year flew by when I think about it. I am starting to get a bit stressed when I think about having to deal with new classes, new professors, new people, etc, because I so enjoyed my schedule last semester. However, it means now I don't have honors block class to consume my life with readings, exams, and papers!! I cannot wait to get back to Western so I can hang out with the crazy girls of my floor, as well as my favorite roomsie ever, Courtney!! Plus, I can finally spend time with my boyfriend Ben by just walking up 3 flights of stairs! So much is ahead of me, I would just like to get this show on the road!

| Aww depression! I havent written since my birthday on xanga. Dangit that was not the way I intended it to be I promise. Well let's see what has been going since my birthday? Alot of stuff actually. Most recently, well it was last Tuesday to be exact, I broke my foot in my ballet class. We were going through our routine before we were getting tested for our final exam, and I rolled over on my foot and heard this huge popping sound. Bad news bears. Everyone told me it was fine, I just pulled a tendon and to ice it. A day and a half later of walking around campus on it and it still hurting, I decided to go have it looked at. The doctor took one look at it and said it was broken. Six x-rays later, I found out I broke my fifth metatarsal and was immediately put in a foot boot thing to help the healing process. Now I have only one exam left of the semester, which equates to me dragging up that hill at Western one more time before I can rest my foot my 5 weeks. Woot woot! Then it's Christmas, the most wonderful time of the year...if it would just get cold and snow

| So it says that it's already October 17th, but it's not really...I still have 45 minutes left of being 18 years old and trying to enjoy what's left of it! It's so crazy to think that this is it for being a teenager. Next year will be symbolically much different as my life continues to change before my eyes. On a less depressing note, this week has already been quite good to me. Last week was utter chaos with a paper due on Charlemagne, a presentation on the New York Times, an exam in business speech class, a speech on Marie Osmond in business speech class, and then all the other readings required of us in my medieval block class. It was not fun stuff. That's over and gone forever now, so I can be happy and glad in it! The only 2 major craziness of this week thus far was finalizing my schedule for next semester and the broken fire alarm that went off 4 times in the night in my dorm. Well I feel much better now that I have given insight into some more of my life on xanga. Yay finding a little bit of time! :) Tomorrow or today (whichever) will be such a happy day and this weekend will be a party as a couple of my closest loves and I celebrate!

| Food poisoning, well Salmonella, is the worst sickness you can possibly ever have. Period. End of sentence. This past Monday I almost died in the emerency room because of it. At the point I was at, I was about ready to die too because I was experiencing such extreme pain from every part of my body. If it had not been for my parents driving to Bowling Green to get me and bring me home, I would have been dead by morning because of dehydration. Without meaning to be cheesy or steriotypical of a near-death experience, it really made me thankful to have such wonderful, loving parents who would do anything for me. Not only that but the good Lord showed me what a blessing my room mate and best friend Courtney is to me. Without all of them I wouldn't be here. I guess this just shows me to never waste another day I am given. | | |
